The Freddy Hirsch Group has a recognized reputation for the highest quality standards. It operates a world-class ingredients milling and blending facility in Cape Town which qualifies to take part in the internationally recognised AIB Food Safety program. The plant also has full local HACCP (SABS) accreditation.
All raw materials used in the manufacture of ingredient products are certified Halaal and manufactured under the strict supervision of the Moslem Judicial Council of Cape Town.
The Group employs industrial engineers and a group of food technologists who manage the manufacturing facility and Quality Control/Assurance programmes as well as Product Development Laboratory, Pilot Plant, Sensory Evaluation Centre and Meat School for trainee butchers/meat processors.
